Leeds lost their first home game in the competition since a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in a third-round replay in January 2011, ending a six-game unbeaten run at home in the FA Cup.

"We need to move on quickly. I know when you're not at your best pace it's not always that easy," Farke said after the game.

"They were motivated, perhaps too motivated to try more. Congrats to Millwall. Overall, I mentioned before the game that to rotate is necessary and important to do this.

"We played too complicated at times in the first half. One of those days when the first goal was deflected into the corner.

"We were not clinical. I like the players trying until the last second. Disappointed with the outcome today. We lost a bit of fluidity due to changes but no complaints."
